Why individual guidance

Your practice.
My full attention.

In our one-to-one sessions, I guide, observe and respond as you practise. We adapt the intensity, pace and movements to your experience, with time for your questions and attention to the details that matter to you.

  1. Strength, mobility and control

Work on strength, stability, mobility and precise movement, with feedback and variations suited to your body and experience.

  2. Breath and focused attention

Explore conscious breathing and concentration alongside movement and rest. Practise noticing tension and responding thoughtfully as the practice becomes more demanding.

  3. A practice that develops with you

Build a regular practice with gradual progression. Returning sessions give us time to revisit details, refine your technique and build on what you have already explored.

Your hour of practice

Move, breathe and explore, with guidance just for you.

There is time to ask, try again and notice the difference a small adjustment can make. I guide the practice around your experience and what you would like to work on.

  1. Begin with how you are today

We start with a short conversation about your experience and what you would like from the practice. That gives us a starting point for the session.

  2. Explore movement with guidance

I guide you through postures and movements, offering feedback and variations as we go. You can pause, ask a question or revisit something that needs more attention.

  3. Give the breath your attention

We make room to notice your breathing and explore its relationship with movement, alongside quieter moments of practice and rest.

  4. Reflect on what you noticed

We finish with space for your questions and a conversation about how you would like to continue.

When an exercise feels challenging, we also practise staying attentive: noticing effort, tension and the breath, and adjusting where needed. The aim is to carry that attentiveness beyond the mat, approaching everyday challenges with greater clarity, patience and a steadier mind.

The emphasis varies from session to session. This is a flexible practice, not a fixed timetable.

Abhay Koushik

Traditional practice.
Thoughtful, attentive teaching.

I’m Abhay Koushik, a formally trained Haṭha Yoga teacher from Mysuru, India. My teaching combines traditional practice with clear guidance, individual attention and respect for your starting point.

Alongside teaching, I’m pursuing a doctorate in Leipzig, researching deep breathing and heart–brain interactions. My curiosity about breathing sits alongside my respect for the traditional practice of Yoga.

Before we practise

Do I need previous Yoga experience?

No previous experience is required. Share whether you are beginning, returning or already practising, so the session can be shaped around your starting point.

What space and device will I need?

You’ll need a (Yoga) mat — enough clear space to move comfortably — and a device with a camera, a screen you can comfortably see and a stable internet connection. We’ll discuss the setup and any additional equipment needs before confirmation.

How do I enquire about a session or package?

Use an enquiry button above to open the practice and scheduling form and choose your preferred session or package. You can also send the short enquiry below with your preferred days, times and time zone, or email Abhay directly. I’ll reply within one working day. To continue towards booking after a short enquiry, complete the practice and scheduling form linked in the acknowledgement email. You only need to complete it once. If you’ve already submitted it, I’ll review your responses and confirm the next steps with you. It guides you through time selections or suggestions and the payment step. I’ll confirm the date and payment before the final session email with your Google Meet link is sent. No payment is taken when you send the short enquiry.

Can I choose a single session or a package?

Yes. You can begin with a paid Single Trial Session at €90, or choose a package of 3, 6 or 10 sessions for continued individual guidance. Every session is live, personalised, one-to-one and online, lasting 60 minutes. Choose the rhythm that suits you in the session-request form.
